About the Role

• An experienced Solution Architect is required to support the design and implementation of digital solutions and capability architecture within an international transformation environment.
• The role focuses on translating business and digital vision into scalable solution designs while supporting engineering teams in the delivery of technical requirements.
• The position involves end-to-end solution design, integration architecture, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will perform technical analysis and create holistic solution designs for future capabilities and features, including dependencies with external systems.
• The role includes translating target architecture and digital vision into practical solution designs and change requirements, designing end-to-end solutions as well as cross-domain integrations and APIs, and defining non-functional, operational, and quality requirements.
• Responsibilities also include creating and refining technical stories that enable business capabilities, promote the reuse of existing components, and support successful delivery by engineering teams.
• The Solution Architect will collaborate with team members on planning and prioritization, provide architectural guidance to delivery teams, and ensure alignment between technical implementation and business goals.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, managing technical debt and technology obsolescence at solution level, and promoting the adoption of new technologies where appropriate.

Project Scope & Deliverables

• The role is focused on delivering solution architecture designs that support future business capabilities, ensuring successful integration across systems and APIs, and enabling delivery teams through clearly defined technical requirements and architecture guidance.
• Deliverables include solution designs, architecture recommendations, technical stories, integration concepts, and documentation supporting implementation and governance activities.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience working as a Solution Architect in complex digital environments.
• Strong background in solution design, enterprise integration, APIs, and end-to-end architecture.
• Experience translating business and architectural requirements into technical designs and implementation guidance.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements, operational requirements, security, privacy, and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and support agile delivery.
• Experience managing technical debt and technology lifecycle considerations within solution architecture.
